Stephen Speaks is a band composed of stepbrothers, Dain and Rockwell, as well as two friends of theirs who recently joined up with the band, Patrick and Matt. Many members have come and gone from the band, and many other artists have contributed in the studio, including Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, who worked with Rockwell in his studio for many years. Rockwell set out in 1995, before he could drive, to chase his dreams in the music business by building an independent record label. Starting with a home based studio, Rockwell built Rippley Records Inc., which led Speaks’ to going platinum overseas, having two number one radio singles, a #1 MTV video, and a two sold-out tours. In 2006, Rockwell set aside producing to build Stephen Speaks, recording “Symptoms Of Love” which released in 2008. There are many new plans for the band in 2008/2009, including a live album/DVD, and a new clothing/accessory line, and a new partnership with TrueAnthem and 3J Workshop offering free music.
