Bag of Toys SAN FRANCISCO, CA   Acoustic / Reggae / Surf
Bag of Toys, an acoustic surf-rock band from Northern California, has emerged on the music scene with a completely original, infectious sound that is drenched in the sun and sand. Formed in 2004, the quartet began by crafting original songs written by front-man Robert Tait into their 2006 debut full-length album entitled "Nooner". Their signature sound quickly propelled them up the acoustic artist rankings on Myspace.com as well as the Bay Area live venue circuit. Bag of Toys release their second full-length album entitled "Afternooner" in July, 2008. Since the release of both albums, their songs have been featured on a national television commercial for the Microsoft Zune media player, Reelcomp.com, the upcoming Universal film "Beethoven: The Reel Movie", and upcoming episodes of the hit television shows "Gossip Girl" on CW and "Bones" on FOX. Featuring two acoustic guitars, the music offers a relaxed vibe supported by a catchy groove and rock-oriented rhythm section. So sit back, grab a beer, and enjoy the imaginary sand in between your toes because Bag of Toys will take you away to a better place with what the band jokingly refers to as "acoustic surf-rock that doesn't suck."
