Electrocute LOS ANGELES, CAElectronic / Psychedelic / Punk
Having recently penned songs for the likes of Tom Jones and Britney Spears and scoring themselves a spot with a Junkie XL collaboration on the 21 soundtrack with the strangely sensual strut jam, "Mad Pursuit", Electrocute are back with their own soon to be cult classic 6 song EP titled "On the Beat".

The group formed in Berlin during its electro craze with the idea of creating a girl-group reminiscent of 60's bubblegum era combined with raunchy surf guitars and fun, booty kicking electronic beats. This combo proved to be a hit and over the past several years Electrocute have appeared on several compilations and soundtracks, released 2 EP's and 1 LP, and have toured the world from Turkey and Russia to Miami and Australia and everywhere in between including an infamous tour with friend and raunchy cohort Peaches.

Lead singer Nicole Morier who also plays guitar, writes and co-produces in the band, has recently relocated to Los Angeles and paired up with the sassy Australian, Legs Le Brock to continue the Electrocute legacy. Legs, a well known DJ, designer, and performer in her home town of Sydney has put her panther slickness to the group contributing the sample track for their new song Bad Legs along with vocals and bass guitar as well as designing the bands spectacular costumes.

Electrocute will delight and surprise you, turning kitsch and bizarre into cool and confident. Thumping dance beats, swaggering fuzz fueled guitars, and sugary vocals weave through a diversity of attacks on the songs (ranging from electro-yummy to electro-mod). Making a statement in the name of dumb fun with an obvious knowledge of music and craftsmanship in the layering, Electrocute are straight up infectious.
